R&B (rhythm and blues) music has been a significant part of the Canadian music culture for more than half a century and this trending music genre was caused by the ever-changing immigrant cultures coming to Canada from all over the world. This is especially emphasized in Toronto, the largest city in Canada.
The history of Canadian R&B can start all the way back to the 1960s, when a wave of immigrants from the Caribbean arrived in Canada. Ever since then, genres such as funk and R&B have been the trending music in Toronto due to the emerging Black artists that have immigrated to Canada.
Through years of development of the R&B music genre, as of now in Toronto, this form of music is famous globally due to Black artists such as The Weeknd, Drake, and Daniel Caesar to name a few. They continually push the genre forward.

Places we will go in Toronto related to music:
Since we are in Toronto, we must visit the CN Tower. It's not an option. Aside from that, we could take a boat ride along the coast, and view the magnificent city skyline. There's also the Ripley's Aquarium which we are considering to visit.
Our hotel will be "Radisson Blu Toronto", located in downtown. As for restaurants/dining, we will have to see.
